An intro to programming + animation summer camp led by Iyare Oronsaye, UNW Animation & Illustration Professor
We invite you to check out University of Northwestern – St. Paul’s newest summer camp offering: a Gaming and Technology Camp! This camp, hosted by the Department of Art & Design, is for all high school students who are interested in learning more about game development in a safe, fun, and Christ-Centered environment. This camp will offer a wide variety of programming activities designed to develop the creative, technical, and tactical aspect of game design. We aim to provide students with a challenging yet rewarding experience that will advance their personal skills and abilities.

FAQs:

  1. What is the target age for students to attend the camp? The camp is designed for students in grades 9-12.
  2. Where should my student be dropped off everyday of camp? Drop off and pick up will be at the Mel Johnson Media Center every day except for pick up on the Friday (7/21) will be from Nazareth Chapel doors where they will be doing their final presentations.
  3. Will lunch be available? Students can purchase lunch each day of camp at extra charge of $8.15 + tax per day or bring their own lunch.
  4. Is registration limited to a certain number of students? This camp is limited to 20 students.
