Northwestern Orchestra Children's Concert Schedule:

1:00pm Matinee
For elementary and middle school groups, and home school families. Admission is free. Advanced reservations are required.

Register for the 1:00pm Matinee. Registration opens October 15th.

6:00pm to 6:45pm Pre-Concert Activities & Refreshments
We are pleased to host the pre-concert activities which are specifically designed to help prepare children for the UNW orchestra concert.  This year’s Carnival of the Animals theme will lend itself to offering an Instrumental Petting Zoo featuring instruments highlighted in the music.  Each student will have the chance to make their own violin with the help of UNW orchestra students and/or learn dance movements to the music they will hear in the concert.  Finally, refreshments are available which will continue the carnival theme. Advanced reservations are required to participate in the Pre-Concert Activities.

7:00pm Concert - The Carnival of the Animals
Open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is general admission. Doors open at 6:00pm. Admission is free but advanced reservations are required.

Register for the Concert & Pre-Concert Activities. Registration opens October 15th.

This is a FREE concert, but every year we ask attendees to consider making a charitable donation to a select charity.  This year, we have chosen the Academy of Music Scholarship Fund to receive these charitable donations. We hope you will give generously and participate in helping more students and their families have access to the wonderful world of music.
